Binuclear silver(I) and copper(I) complexes, and , with bridging diphenylphosphine ligands were prepared. In , the silver(I) center is located inside a trigonal plane composed of three phosphorus donors from three separate and bridging dppm ligands. The fourth coordination site is filled with neighboring silver(I) ions.

Methods: Multi-parametric MRI was prospectively done for MIBC patients at 3 time points. Pre-treatment ADC value, pre-treatment TV, as well as, percent of changes (ΔADC%, and ΔTV%) in these parameters at mid- and post-treatment relative to baseline were calculated and compared between the patients with and without clinical complete response (CR).
Excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) during cryopreservation and post-thawing affects sperm quality and subsequent fertilizing capacity. Nanoparticles (NPs) with antioxidative properties can improve sperm function and male fertility. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of 100 µM ρ-coumaric acid (ρ-CA), 0.

Melanin biosynthesis in different organisms is performed by a tyrosinase action. Excessive enzyme activity and pigment accumulation result in different diseases and disorders including skin cancers, blemishes, and darkening. In fruits and vegetables, it causes unwanted browning of these products and reduces their appearance quality and economic value.

Methods: This institutional review board (IRB) approved retrospective observational study enrolled patients with a history of lung transplant who had at least two chest CT scans. Vertebral body bone density (superior, middle, and inferior sections) and height (anterior, middle, and posterior sections) were measured at T1-T12 at baseline and follow up CT scans.
Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are the final products of the Maillard reaction, formed through the interaction of carbohydrates and proteins. Reactive dicarbonyl compounds such as methylglyoxal (MGO) serve as precursors for AGEs formation. Elevated levels of MGO/AGEs are observed in conditions like obesity, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and diabetes, negatively impacting oocyte development.

Materials And Methods: The characteristics of the AWE lesions in the patients were obtained using ultrasound (US). The patients received general and local anesthesia, and then, AWE lesions were divided into 1 cm sections visually, and each of these sections underwent US-guided RFA using the moving shot technique.
An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of single-cell protein (SCP), as a valuable by-product and substitute for soybean meal, and multistrain probiotics on the performance, blood biochemistry, intestinal histomorphology, ileal microbiota, and immune responses in laying hens. Leghorn laying hens were randomly assigned to nine experimental treatments with eight replicates of five birds each. Dietary treatments consisted of three levels of replacement of soybean meal with SCP (0.

In terms of diagnostic imaging, CT is the primary tool due to its exceptional spatial resolution, particularly for examining the temporal bone and ossicles. MRI complements this by offering detailed soft tissue lesion characterization and assessing involvement in the inner ear and cranial nerves.

Materials & Methods: Bony metastatic patients with pain score ≥4 on the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI) underwent RT of 30 Gy in 10 fractions in combination with WBH with nursing care under medical supervision versus RT-alone. WBH application time was 3-4 h in three fractions with at least 48-h intervals.
Dynamic problems need dynamic solutions. High motility of the cervical spine causes a common age-related degenerative condition called cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM), manifested by neurological impairments. An accurate and reliable diagnosis of CSM is crucial for determining appropriate management strategies.

A previous targeted plasma proteomic study has indicated that ascorbic acid is associated with markers of the immune system in healthy subjects. However, the association between the levels of ascorbic acid and blood biomarkers in subjects at risk of developing T2D is still unknown.

Although the serum proteome can provide information on the biological pathways associated with different metabolites, it is unknown whether the intake of dairy modifies such associations between bile acids and the proteome.

Thus play a major role not only in their development, but also exerts as a crucial linking factor among those diseases. In this regard, one of the strategies for tackling this problem is application of antioxidants to treat such diseases.

Nevertheless, there has been no systematic review of circadian clock genes and proteins, leptin, and related signaling pathways.
Methods: Accordingly, we systematically reviewed circadian clock proteins, leptin, and molecular mechanisms between them by searching Pubmed, Scopus, ProQuest, Web of Sciences, and Google Scholar until September 2022.
Introduction: The IraPEN program is an adapted version of the WHO-PEN program designed to prevent four major non-communicable diseases in Iran. This study aimed to determine the rate of compliance and related factors among individuals participating in the IraPEN program for the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Method: In this study, compliance was defined as timely referral to the health center as scheduled, and the researchers approached four pilot sites of IraPEN from March 2016 to March 2018.
Derivatization of (NHC)M-Cl (M = Ag, Au) with selected sulfur donors from the family of dialkyldithiophosphates and bis(2-mercapto-1-methylimidazolyl)borate ligands gave a series of heteroleptic mononuclear complexes. In single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, Ag(I) complexes adopted a trigonal planar geometry, while Au(I) complexes are near-linear. TD-DFT and hole-electron analyses of the selected complexes gave insight into the electronic features of the metal complexes.
