Our retrospective study included 837 HNSCC patients from January 2012 to December 2017. Lung nodules were characterized on CT as benign, indeterminate, and metastatic.

Background: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is an effective HIV prevention method and a key component of Philadelphia's Community Plan to End the HIV Epidemic (EHE). Introduction: Implementation of enhanced recovery pathways (ERPs) has resulted in improved patient-centred outcomes and decreased costs. However, there is a lack of high-level evidence for many ERP elements. We have designed a randomised, embedded, multifactorial, adaptive platform perioperative medicine (REMAP Periop) trial to evaluate the effectiveness of several perioperative therapies for patients undergoing complex abdominal surgery as part of an ERP.

Repurposing pantoprazole in combination with systemic therapy in advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: a phase I/II randomized study.

Post-treatment imaging of gliomas: challenging the existing dogmas.

Gliomas are the commonest malignant central nervous system tumours in adults and imaging is the cornerstone of diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment follow-up of these patients. With the ever-evolving treatment strategies post-treatment imaging and interpretation in glioma remains challenging, more so with the advent of anti-angiogenic drugs and immunotherapy, which can significantly alter the appearance in this setting, thus making interpretation of routine imaging findings such as contrast enhancement, oedema, and mass effect difficult to interpret. We develop a local correlation variant of auxiliary-field quantum Monte Carlo (AFQMC) based on local natural orbitals (LNO-AFQMC). In LNO-AFQMC, independent AFQMC calculations are performed for each localized occupied orbital using a truncated set of tailored orbitals. Because the size of this space does not grow with the system size for a target accuracy, the method has linear scaling.

We present a method for calculating first-order response properties in phaseless auxiliary field quantum Monte Carlo by applying automatic differentiation (AD). Biases and statistical efficiency of the resulting estimators are discussed. Our approach demonstrates that AD enables the calculation of reduced density matrices with the same computational cost scaling per sample as energy calculations, accompanied by a cost prefactor of less than four in our numerical calculations.
