A prognosis of morbidity and mortality of stroke in the Republic of Dagestan is presented. Using the data of stroke register of the Republic of Dagestan for the period 2009-2011, logistic regression models for predicting the development of the situation with stroke within the next 7 years were built.

Results of the first epidemiologic survey of cerebral stroke in the Dagestan Republic (DR) carried out in 2009--2010 are presented. Using a population register, we evaluated the dynamics of the morbidity rate of stroke and effectiveness of primary and secondary prevention of stroke. There were 7533 cases of stroke, including 4116 in 2009 and 3413 in 2010.

The dosage of 5-fluoruracil in the complex treatment of patients should be differentiated corresponding to the form of the disease: 3 mg/kg in the endomatous form, 5 mg/kg in the destructive form.
