The aim of this research was to study the effect of MnO nanoparticles stabilized with L-methionine on the morphofunctional characteristics of the barley ( L.) crop. MnO nanoparticles stabilized with L-methionine were synthesized using potassium permanganate and L-methionine.

The selenous acid, cocamidopropyl betaine, and ascorbic acid concentrations were considered as input parameters. The output parameters were the average hydrodynamic radius of the particles ( ) and ζ-potential.

It was observed that Se NPs synthesized in excess of selenic acid had a negative charge with ζ-potential of -21.86 mV, and in excess of cocamidopropyl betaine-a positive charge with ξ =  + 22.

Synthesis was carried out by direct chemical precipitation. Copper sulfate, chloride, and acetate were used as precursors for the copper oxide synthesis.

For the first time, we studied the influence of the molar ratio of silver between silver and peroxide on the oxidation process of the nanoparticles and determined the regularities of this process by analyzing changes in absorption spectra. Our results showed that at molar ratios of Ag:HO = 1:1 and 1:5, dependences of changes in the intensity, position and half-width of the absorption band of the plasmon resonance are rectilinear.
