Objective: To analyze the risk of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) flare after admission for COVID-19.
Methods: We performed a matched cohort study using the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris Clinical Data Warehouse which collects structured medical, biological and administrative information from 11 million patients in Paris area, France. Each SLE patient hospitalized with a COVID-19 diagnosis code between March 2020 and December 2021 was matched to one SLE control patient with an exact matching procedure using age ±3 years, gender, chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, and serological activity.
Objectives: To describe the uptake of anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccination in 2021 and investigate vaccine effectiveness in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients in Sweden.
Methods: The cumulative incidence of first anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccination was estimated among SLE patients from the Swedish National Patient Register and matched comparators living in Sweden on January 1, 2021. To assess vaccine effectiveness, we included the individuals who received two doses of anti-SARS-CoV2 mRNA vaccines before year 2022, with no COVID-19 diagnosis code before the 2nd vaccine dose.
Introduction: Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is a cause of pregnancy morbidity. We aim to determine the frequency of criteria and non-criteria anti-phospholipid (aPL) autoantibodies in patients admitted for unexplained fetal death (UFD), pre-eclampsia (PE) and/or fetal growth restriction (FGR).
Methods: All consecutive patients with UFD, PE and/or FGR followed in the department of Obstetrics, Bichat Hospital, University of Paris, Paris, between January 2019 and December 2021 were screened.
Introduction: Steroids and anti-IL6 biotherapy are highly effective in obtaining remission in patients with giant cell arteritis (GCA) but the risk of relapses remains high. We aimed to identify predictors of relapse in GCA.

In this study, the authors sought to create a novel bone graft substitute material that overcomes the limitations of Infuse and compare the ability of this material with that of Infuse to facilitate union following spine surgery in a clinically translatable rat model of spinal fusion.
Methods: The authors created a polydopamine (PDA)-infused, porous, homogeneously dispersed solid mixture of extracellular matrix and calcium phosphates (BioMim-PDA) and then compared the efficacy of this material directly with Infuse in the setting of different concentrations of rhBMP-2 using a rat model of spinal fusion.
