Introduction: Diagnosis of persistent erythematous, scaly patches, or plaques can be complex since psoriasis (Ps), eczematous dermatitis (ED), and mycosis fungoides (MF) can be considered. Dermoscopy, which is a noninvasive diagnostic tool, is commonly used to examine blood vessels, scales, and background color; however, research on hair shaft evaluation in inflammatory dermatoses remains scarce. The aim of the study was dermoscopic evaluation of hair shafts in skin lesions localized on the non-scalp skin areas in patients diagnosed with MF, Ps, and ED.

Erythrodermic variants of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTLC) are one of the case of erythroderma. Mir-132 is a neuronal activity-regulated microRNA that controls the morphology of dendritic spines and neuronal transmission. Similar activities have recently been attributed to matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), an extrasynaptic protease. The analyzed tablets contained metoprolol tartrate (50 mg) and propranolol hydrochloride (10 mg), respectively. In the recent years, 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A(HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitors have emerged as the most important class of lipid-lowering agents. Through inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase, they restrict the rate-limiting step of cholesterol synthesis resulting in up-regulation of low density lipoproteins (LDL) receptors on the cell membrane and reduction of atherogenic LDL consequences. The wide spectrum of non-lipid-mediated pleiotropic effects of statins includes: improvement of endothelial dysfunction, increased nitric oxide bioavailability, antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties, stabilization of atherosclerotic plaques and inhibition of cardiac hypertrophy.
