Background: Perioperative chemotherapy improves the prognosis of patients with locoregionally advanced resectable gastric and gastro-esophageal junction adenocarcinoma. Nevertheless, only 50% of operated patients could receive the postoperative component chemotherapy. An exclusive preoperative chemotherapy is therefore an interesting strategy.
