Background: Central nervous system (CNS) tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children. While most cases come from low-middle income countries (LMIC) where their prognosis is worse, few epidemiological studies are conducted in these regions.

Methods: We conducted a registry-based cohort study for childhood CNS tumors at Children's Cancer Hospital, Egypt (CCHE) over 15 years.

Nonfunctioning Adrenocortical Carcinoma in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A Case Report of a Rare Multiple Primaries Combination.

Childhood adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a rare tumor and its association with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is even rarer. One such case is discussed in this case report. A 3-year-old patient was concomitantly diagnosed with ALL and an initially nonmetastatic ACC.

Surgical and clinical aspects of cerebellar pilomyxoid-spectrum astrocytomas in children.

Background: Cerebellar pilomyxoid astrocytomas (PMAs) and intermediate pilomyxoid astrocytomas (IPAs) are collectively called "pilomyxoid-spectrum astrocytomas (PMSAs)." Cerebellar PMSAs are thought to behave more aggressively than pilocytic astrocytomas (PAs). Our objective is to compare PMSAs to PAs in terms of surgical and clinical profiles.
