Background: Radiation therapy may result in complications, including fibrosis, which can result in pain and difficulty with movement - especially in the neck.

Case Presentation: A 52-year-old man with right-sided vague neck pain unresponsive to conservative management had a computed tomography scan that showed a vagal paraganglioma in the carotid sheath surrounding the right carotid arteries and internal jugular vein. Following radiation therapy, he noticed a new pain in his right jaw and neck worse with certain movements of the neck.

Background: Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) commonly experience dyspnea, which may limit activities of daily living. Pursed-lip breathing improves dyspnea for COPD patients; however, access to pursed-lip breathing training is limited.

Methods: The proposed MELodica Orchestra for DYspnea (MELODY) study will be a single-site pilot study to assess the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of a music-based approach to teach pursed-lip breathing.

Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can negatively impact patients' health status and outcomes. Positive airway pressure (PAP) reverses airway obstruction and may reduce the risk of adverse outcomes. Remote monitoring of PAP (as opposed to in-person visits) may improve access to sleep medicine services.
