Objective To assess the frequency of early postoperative complications and surgical anatomy after ileostomy reversal among the population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Materials and methods In the current study, a total of 241 patients were assessed. Sufficient urine output, usual serum electrolytes and urea were indicators of a sufficient recovery.
