Evaluation of Ointments with in Wound Healing in an In Vivo Model.

Fungi are a source of a variety of secondary metabolites of importance in different areas of biotechnology. Several compounds have been characterized with antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activity from fungi of the division of the Ascomycota, among which is the species , an endophyte fungus of pantropical distribution. Nematicidal activity of a hydroalcoholic extract of the edible mushroom Neolentinus ponderosus on L larvae of Haemonchus contortus.

Objective: In the present study, the in vitro and in vivo effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of Neolentinus ponderosus (EHNP) on L larvae of Haemonchus contortus was evaluated.

Material And Methods: The N. ponderosus fungus was cultivated in potato dextrose liquid medium for 7 days at 120 rpm and 25 °C.
