Pneumonia is a common disorder of the respiratory system associated with inflammation. Telmisartan (TEL) has been reported to treat inflammatory-related diseases. The current study aimed to investigate the possible role and action mechanism of telmisartan on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced pneumonia in rats.
