Spatial transcriptomics (ST) technologies enable dissecting the tissue architecture in spatial context. To perceive the global contextual information of gene expression patterns in tissue, the spatial dependence of cells must be fully considered by integrating both local and non-local features by means of spatial-context-aware. However, the current ST integration algorithm ignores for ST dropouts, which impedes the spatial-aware of ST features, resulting in challenges in the accuracy and robustness of microenvironmental heterogeneity detecting, spatial domain clustering, and batch-effects correction.

Here, we aimed to assess whether the FEF can be used to diagnose BHR in patients with asthma-like symptoms and AR.

Background: Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is a prevalent artery and is strongly correlated with age. The role of CD4+ Memory T cells in giant cell arteritis has not been elucidated.
Method: Through single-cell analysis, we focused on the CD4+ Memory T cells in giant cell arteritis.
Background: Superficial autologous fat grafting is widely used for facial rejuvenation and regenerative treatments, yet its retention rate remains unpredictable. Enhancing the concentration of adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) has been shown to improve graft retention. Mechanical fat processing techniques can reduce fat granules size for superficial injection as well as elevate the concentration of ASCs.

Golgi protein 73 (GP73), a Golgi membrane protein, has been implicated in various cellular processes, including immune regulation. Recent studies suggested that GP73 may play a role in modulating the immune response in patients with cancer.

The aviation industry plays a crucial role in global trade and cultural exchange, but it faces significant challenges due to high fuel costs and environmental impacts. To achieve carbon neutrality, promoting the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is essential, with projections indicating that 65% of emissions reductions in the aviation industry by 2050 will come from the use of SAF. Lignin, as an abundant renewable resource, has great potential for conversion into aviation fuel components.

However, the current parity-time-symmetric scheme falls short of achieving the theoretical maximum efficiency of wireless power transfer and faces challenges when applied to non-resistive loads. In this study, we propose a theoretical framework and provide experimental evidence demonstrating that asymmetric resonance, based on dispersive gain, can greatly enhance the efficiency of wireless power transfer beyond the limits of symmetric approaches.

However, the simplest type of resistive sensors still lacks sensitivity to localized strain and other extractable data. Enhancing their sensitivity and expanding their functionality to perceive multiple stimuli simultaneously are highly beneficial yet require optimal material design and proper testing methods.

The risks associated with wound infections are significant, making a snug-fitting hydrogel dressing an optimal choice for wound management. For it, we employed the self-cross-linking method of oxidized sodium alginate (SCSA), incorporating clarithromycin (Cla) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) to formulate a rapidly forming, bacteriostatic, and wound-healing hydrogel (SCSA@C/b). Bacteriostatic and cytocompatibility assays demonstrated that SCSA@C/b exhibits exceptional antibacterial activity alongside strong biocompatibility.

However, achieving ordered exfoliation to obtain uniform two-dimensional structures remains challenging. In this study, we developed a supramolecular system by covalently bonding hexathiobenzene (HB) into β-cyclodextrin to create a light-responsive moiety, followed by coassembly with bipyridine and nickel ions to form a polypseudorotaxane (PR) system, which enables an light-induced exfoliation strategy for two-dimensional materials.

Methods And Results: We systematically compared the isolation performance of various archaeal and bacterial media by isolating halophilic archaea from the Da Qaidam Salt Lake, a magnesium sulfate subtype hypersaline lake on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China, using multiple enrichment culture and gradient dilution conditions. A total of 490 strains of halophilic archaea were isolated, which belonged to five families and 11 genera within the order Halobacteriales of the class Halobacteria of the phylum Euryarchaeota.

As a natural oil, horse oil has unique biological activity ingredients and therapeutic characteristics, which has important application value and market potential in healthcare, food, skin care and other fields. However, fraud is rampant in the horse oil market, and traditional methods such as chemical analysis and physical property detection are time-consuming, costly, and have low accuracy in detecting adulteration. Excessive adulteration may cause health risks, skin problems, and economic losses.

Divergent synthesis of valuable molecules through common starting materials and metal catalysis represents a longstanding challenge and a significant research goal. We here describe chemodivergent, highly enantio- and regioselective nickel-catalyzed reductive and dehydrogenative coupling reactions of alkynes, aldehydes, and silanes. A single chiral Ni-based catalyst is leveraged to directly prepare three distinct enantioenriched products (silyl-protected trisubstituted chiral allylic alcohols, oxasilacyclopentenes, and silicon-stereogenic oxasilacyclopentenes) in a single chemical operation.
