Objectives: To explore the risk factors for thrombi occurring in patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and establish a risk prediction model to better predict the risk of thrombosis in patients with ITP.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 350 ITP patients who had been hospitalized in the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province between January 2024 and June 2024. For all patients, we recorded demographic characteristics and clinical data, analyzed the risk factors for thrombosis in ITP patients and then developed a risk prediction model.
In tumor treatment, the sequence and timing of drug action have a large influence on therapeutic efficacy. Multi-drug sequential release systems (MDSRS) enable the sequential and/or on-demand release of multiple drugs following the single administration of a therapeutic agent. Several researchers have explored MDSRS, providing fresh strategies for synergistic cancer therapy.

Utilizing the principle of genetic similarity between their gene sequences, we built a molecular transmission network by gathering data from earlier molecular epidemiological studies. This allowed us to analyze the epidemiological features of this group and offer fresh concepts and approaches for the prevention and management of HIV-1 epidemics.

In the current study, we explored the interplay of miR-155 and suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 (SOCS1) in regulating Treg function and stability in SLE.
Methods: Clinical samples from healthy subjects and SLE patients were collected, and a mouse model of SLE was established to profile the expression pattern of miR-155 and SCOS1 in Tregs.
Background: Some challenges still exist with single-target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies due to variable or negative BCMA expression, although they have yielded remarkable efficacy in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. We developed anti-BCMA/GPRC5D bispecific CARs to mitigate the limitations and potentiate the functions of CAR T cells.
Methods: This single-arm, phase 1 trial was conducted at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University (Xuzhou, China).
The extrinsic black tooth stain (EBS) is commonly found in primary dentition. Patients cannot clean the EBS; this can only be done by professional scaling and debridement. It also has a tendency to reform, which significantly compromises children's aesthetics and even affects their quality of life.

Methods: Peripheral blood and synovial tissue were collected from healthy participants, patients with RA, and patients with both RA and HT.
To investigate the potential molecular mechanism of miR-34a in Sjögren's syndrome (SS). Transmission electron microscopy was used to observe the salivary gland tissues of mild and severe SS patients. SS mouse model was constructed and injected with miR-34a antagonist.

However, it is the release of mature TGF-β that is essential for the activation of the TGF-β signaling pathway.

We present a retrospective study of 67 patients with R/R B-ALL who received anti-CD19 CAR T-cell therapy, 41 (61.2%) patients received G-CSF (G-CSF group), while 26 (38.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted over a duration of 7 months, during which patients who had received HCQ treatment for >6 months were included. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire that encompassed demographic and geographic characteristics, information on HCQ and concomitant medication usage, sun exposure characteristics, and hyperpigmentation-related characteristics.
Background: Sleep-related facial mandibular myoclonus (SRFMM) remains rare in clinical practice. The aim of this study was to provide a comprehensive understanding of the electroclinical manner, therapeutic regimen, and prognosis of SRFMM.
Methods: Twenty-three patients who were diagnosed with SRFMM by clinical manifestation, video-electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography over bilateral masseter and temporalis muscles were enrolled.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate inpatient services in 49 tertiary comprehensive hospitals using indicators from the diagnosis related groups (DRG) payment system.
Method: DRG data from 49 tertiary comprehensive hospitals were obtained from the quality monitoring platform for provincial hospitals, and relevant indicators were identified. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to compute the weight of each indicator.
Ischemic stroke (IS) is a prevalent form of stroke and a leading cause of mortality and disability. Recently, cell membrane-derived nanovehicles (CMNVs) derived from erythrocytes, thrombocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, neural stem cells, and cancer cells have shown great promise as drug delivery systems for IS treatment. By precisely controlling drug release rates and targeting specific sites in the brain, CMNVs enable the reduction in drug dosage and minimization of side effects, thus significantly enhancing therapeutic strategies and approaches for IS.

Methods: qRT-PCR was used to detect the expressions of circETS1, miR-1205, and FoxP3 in clinical SLE patient samples. Overexpression of circETS1and miR-1205, along with knockdown of miR-1205 and FoxP3 were conducted in CD4 T cells, while the proliferation of helper T cell 17 (Th17) and regulatory T cell (Treg) was detected.
Background: An overlap of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies- (ANCA-) associated vasculitis (AAV) is extremely uncommon and no clear definition has been proposed. The SLE/AAV overlap syndrome mainly affects kidney, blood count, nervous system and lung. However, few previous cases reported nasal septal and palatal perforation in this disorder.

Low-quality jadeite is often subjected to bleaching, filling, and dyeing to improve its texture and consequently increase its value. In this study, natural jadeite, bleached and filled jadeite, and dyed jadeite were investigated by combining Raman spectroscopy and optical coherence tomography (OCT). The results show that jadeite composition can be identified from Raman peaks around 205, 377, 700, and 1040 .
