Background: Additional to total protein content, the amino acid (AA) profile is important to the nutritional value of soybean seed. The AA profile in soybean seed is a complex quantitative trait controlled by multiple interconnected genes and pathways controlling the accumulation of each AA. With a total of 621 soybean germplasm, we used three genome-wide association study (GWAS)-based approaches to investigate the genomic regions controlling the AA content and profile in soybean.

Previous studies have identified numerous oil and protein QTLs via single-trait QTL analysis. Multiple-trait QTL methods were shown to be superior but have not been applied to seed oil and protein contents.

Clinical trials have demonstrated ASCT's efficacy in MM, including its potential as salvage therapy after prolonged remission. Peripheral blood stem cells (PBSCs) are now the primary source of hematopoietic stem cells for ASCT.

Methods: A total of 9 DRE patients and 9 controls were enrolled. Serum from DRE patients was prospectively collected and analyzed for potential serum biomarkers using TMT18-labeled proteomics.
Background: Preoperative imaging for some unusual lesions in the sellar region can pose challenges in establishing a definitive diagnosis, impacting treatment strategies.
Methods: This study is a retrospective analysis of eight cases involving unusual sellar region lesions, all treated with endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (EETS). We present the clinical, endocrine, and radiological characteristics, along with the outcomes of these cases.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of pseudoexfoliation syndrome in patients with cataracts in King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) and rates of complication in pseudoexfoliation (PXF) patients postoperatively and 2-year follow-up.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on medical records of PXF patients who underwent phacoemulsification and extracapsular cataract extraction in KHUH, Bahrain, between August 31, 2016, and December 30, 2018.
Results: From the 458 cases analyzed, there were 17 patients with PXF (3.

This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the recurrence-related morphology characteristics and hemodynamics.
Method: A total of 20 patients with 22 Pcom aneurysms from 2019 to 2022 were retrospectively enrolled.
Gliomas are the most common malignant primary brain tumors in adults with poor prognoses. The purpose of this study is to explore CACNG3 as a prognostic factor that is closely related to the progression and survival outcome of gliomas and to provide a potential new molecular target for the diagnosis and treatment of glioma patients. CACNG3 expression and related clinical data were collected from three major databases of The Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA), The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO).

Although multiple quantitative disease resistance loci (QDRL) have been identified, most explain <10% of the phenotypic variation (PV). The major QDRL explaining up to 45% of the PV previously identified on chromosome 18 and represent a valuable source of resistance for soybean breeding programs.

However, low concentrations of an essential amino acid, methionine, limit the nutritional utility of soybean protein. The objectives of this study were to identify genomic associations and evaluate the potential for genomic selection (GS) for methionine content in soybean seeds.

However, few studies have addressed this issue in low-income settings. The aim of this study was to determine the association of both sleep duration and sleep quality with overweight/obesity among adolescents of Bangladesh.

Patients with DLBCL-RS have poor outcomes with DLBCL-directed therapy; thus, consolidation with hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) has been used, with durable remissions observed. Studies reporting HCT outcomes in patients with DLBCL-RS have been small, have not evaluated the prognostic impact of cytogenetic risk factors, and were conducted prior to the era of novel targeted therapy of CLL/SLL.

Gliomas are the most severe brain tumours with a poor prognosis. Although surgery, postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy can improve the survival rate of glioma patients, the prognosis of most glioma patients is still poor. In recent years, the influence of gene-targeted therapy on gliomas has been gradually discovered, and intervening the occurrence and development of brain gliomas from the perspective of the gene will significantly improve treatment prognosis.

Improving the seed protein of soybean without negatively affecting yield and oil content is an important goal for soybean breeders. A population consisting of 132 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) was developed by crossing an elite breeding line, G00-3213 with a plant introduction, PI 594458A, with elevated protein content.

I/R gives rise to a series of physiological and pathological world, including inflammatory response, oxidative stress, brain edema, blood-brain barrier destruction, and neuronal death. Therefore, finding effective treatment measures is extremely important to the recovery of I/R patients and the improvement of long-term quality of life.

The shell consisted of a human serum albumin- (HSA-) paclitaxel (PTX) layer, which extended the blood circulation time and ensured the effectiveness of the chemotherapy. Arg-Gly-Asp peptides (RGD) were linked to the naked cysteine moieties in HSA to promote the specific targeting of human glioma U87 cells by integrins.

Using gas chromatography, we have measured soybean FAs profiles of 621 soybean accessions (maturity groups I through IV) grown in five different environments; Columbus, OH (2015), Wooster, OH (2014 and 2015), Plymouth, NC (2015), and Urbana, IL (2015). Using publicly available SoySNP50K genotypic data and the FA profiles from this study, a genome-wide association analysis was completed with a compressed mixed linear model to identify 43 genomic regions significantly associated with a fatty acid at a genome wide significance threshold of 5%.
