Keratinocytes exosome participates in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and exosomes always carry long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) into target cells to function as an essential immune regulator in psoriasis-related diseases. LncRNA LOC285194 is closely associated with the occurrence of psoriasis. However, whether keratinocyte exosomal LOC285194 participates in the process of psoriasis remains vague.

Concurrently, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have garnered attention for their regulatory roles in neurodegenerative disorders. This study was designed to ascertain the key lncRNAs in pyroptosis pathways of PD and elucidate their regulatory mechanisms.

Bacteriophages are proved as one of the alternatives to control spoilage bacteria in today's dairy industry. This study aimed to investigate how a previously identified phage YZU_PF006 prevents dairy spoilage caused by P.

The treatment of this disease can inevitably result in reperfusion, thereby triggering cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) and neuronal pyroptosis. Electroacupuncture derived from traditional acupuncture has been proven to have favorable effects on ameliorating brain IRI and pyroptosis.

The triggers for fatty liver can be derived from external sources such as adipose tissue, the gut, personal diet, and genetics, or internal sources, including immune cell responses, lipotoxicity, hepatocyte death, mitochondrial dysfunction, and extracellular vesicles. However, their pathogenesis varies to some extent.

Endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy (ERAT) has emerged as a promising, non-invasive treatment for acute uncomplicated appendicitis. Here, we aim to assess the safety and efficacy of ERAT for chronic fecalith appendicitis.

Background And Aims: Repeat peroral endoscopic myotomy (Re-POEM) appeared to be a promising salvage option for patients with persistent/recurrent symptoms after initial POEM, but it may be more technical challenging. Here we aim to evaluate the safety and technical difficulty of Re-POEM.
Methods: Between July 2012 and October 2023, 158 achalasia patients underwent Re-POEM were retrospectively enrolled.
A new NIR fluorescent probe (DCIQ-2DNP), which combined the thiolysis of dinitrophenyl (DNP) ether and DNP-marked electron-deficient quaternary carbon, was reported for the first time for detection of HS. The DCIQ-2DNP probe showed an NIR emission signal (740 nm), a large Stokes shift (128 nm), and rapid monitoring of hydrogen sulfide (within 60 s) in food samples and living cells.

However, little is known about the abundance, distribution, and functional significance of mRNA mA modification during fruit ripening of tomato the main model species for fleshy fruits. Our study shows that mA modifications are prevalent in tomato mRNA and are detected in lncRNA and circRNA.

However, at present, there is no comprehensive understanding of the competency of liver transplantation specialist nurses in China, and there is a lack of comprehensive evaluation indicators. The purpose of this study was to construct a competency evaluation indicator system for specialist nurses in liver transplantation.

Nurses' innovation ability can improve the quality of patient care, thus shorten the hospital stay, reduce the medical costs, and promote the rapid development of the nursing industry. Nowadays nurses have gradually involved in various innovation, but less concerns are focus on the evaluation of nurse's innovation competence.

We collected relevant medical record quality control data before (from April to November 2021) and after (from April to November 2022) the use of the driver's license-type scoring management in the medical record quality management of a Grade-A tertiary general hospital in a prefecture-level city ("R Hospital" for short). We evaluated the impact by statistically analyzing the data using the χ2 test and t test with the SPSSAU online statistical analysis software.

Purpose: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the factors influencing the occurrence of peristomal skin complications.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted across multiple databases by using a combination of subject terms and free words for online search.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) levels and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in premature infants one month after birth.
Methods: Preterm infants (gestational age <32 weeks) admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from 2017 to 2022 were divided into ROP and non-ROP groups based on ROP occurrence any stage. Serum 25(OH)D levels and clinical data were compared between the two groups at 1 month after birth, and the relationship between vitamin D levels and ROP was analyzed.
Limited data exist regarding endoscopic obstruction of type I gastroesophageal (GOV I) in managing bleeding from esophageal varices. In this multicenter retrospective cohort study, we aimed to access the efficacy of blocking gastric varices in management of bleeding from esophageal varices in patients with GOV1. Cirrhotic patients experiencing bleeding from esophageal varices and having GOV I gastric varices in four centers were screened.

Method: Data from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) were analyzed with HPV E7 Type 16 and HPV E7 Type 18 as exposure factors. The outcome variables included lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, adenocarcinoma and squamous cell lung cancer.
Objective: Based on machine learning method, four types of early postoperative frailty risk prediction model of enterostomy patients were constructed to compare the performance of each model and provide the basis for preventing early postoperative frailty of elderly patients with enterostomy.
Methods: The prospective convenience sampling method was conducted and 362 early postoperative enterostomy patients were selected in three hospitals from July 2020 to November 2023 in Shanghai, four different prediction models of Support Vector Machine (SVM), Bayes, XG Boost, and Logistic regression were used and compared the test effects of the four models (MCC, F1, AUC, and Brier index) to judge the classification performance of the four models in the data of this study.
Results: A total of 21 variables were included in this study, and the predictors mainly covered demographic information, stoma-related information, quality of life, anxiety and depression, and frailty.
A resin-based hard carbon with rich closed pores is prepared by the reconstruction of cavities formed after heteroatoms evaporated during a high-temperature carbonization process. Various characterization results confirm that rich defect sites and micropores and enlarged layer spacing in hard carbon promote Na transport and facilitate high-performance Na storage.
