Micropropagation is an important tool for the propagation for recalcitrant species, like This is a first reported about a complete study of the , it includes the vegetative rescue protocol of mature trees, its micropropagation up to the implementation of a mini-garden and clonal micro-garden and evaluation of adventitious rooting of their propagules. The in vitro rejuvenation of genotypes (03, 05, 06, 13 and 15), over 21 successive subcultures, was evaluated by comparing minicutting and microcutting techniques and the efficiency of this biotechnological tool for cloning of the mature trees. The results provide evidence of the in vitro rejuvenation occurring in the mature trees during micropropagation, leading to increases in the multiplication ratios of the microstumps of three genotypes (03, 05 and 15).

Four phenotypes (α, β, γ, δ) for sepsis, which have different outcomes and responses to treatment, were described using routine clinical data in the electronic health record.
Research Question: Do the frequencies of AKI, acute kidney disease (AKD), chronic kidney disease (CKD), and AKI on CKD differ by sepsis phenotype?
Study Design And Methods: This was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial of early resuscitation, including patients with septic shock at 31 sites.
Background: The Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) enrolled children in the United States and Canada onto a retrospective multicenter natural history study of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT).
Objective: We investigated outcomes of HCT for severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID).
Methods: We evaluated the chronic and late effects (CLE) after HCT for SCID in 399 patients transplanted from 1982 to 2012 at 32 PIDTC centers.
Sarcomeric hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a prevalent genetic disorder characterised by left ventricular hypertrophy, myocardial disarray, and an increased risk of heart failure and sudden cardiac death. Despite advances in understanding its pathophysiology, treatment options for HCM remain limited. This narrative review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of current clinical practice and explore emerging therapeutic strategies for sarcomeric HCM, with a focus on cardiac myosin inhibitors.

Our aim is to evaluate, in a real-life setting, the clinical significance of ID screening and FCM treatment in acute decompensated HF (ADHF). : In a cohort of ADHF patients, the prevalence of ID and FCM administration were investigated.

Design: Adaptive, multicenter, randomized clinical trial.
Setting: Five University Hospitals in Europe and North America.
Background: Broader primary care practice range of services (ROS), defined as the diversity of professional services delivered, is associated with lower utilization. ROS provided by individual primary care physicians (PCPs) varies considerably with unclear implications for patients.
Objectives: Create a PCP-ROS measure covering six categories of outpatient services, including expanded codes for mental health counseling services and point of care ultrasound (POCUS) technology in physician offices.
Objectives: The primary aim of the study is to explore the knowledge and use of palpatory tests in detecting somatic dysfunction, the second is to assess the knowledge about the inhibitory tests among osteopathic practitioners in Italy, England, and France.
Methods: A quantitative survey was conducted, between March and May 2021, through the administration of a semi-structured questionnaire. The participants had to answer 8 questions.
His bundle pacing (HBP) has emerged as a feasible alternative to right (RVP) and biventricular pacing (BVP) for Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT). This study sought to assess, in ex-vivo experimental models, the optimal setup for HBP in terms of electrode placement and pacing protocol to achieve superior electrical synchrony in the case of complete His-Purkinje block and left bundle branch block (LBBB). We developed a 3D model of His bundle and bundle branches, embedded in a patient-specific biventricular heart model reconstructed from CT images.

In other viral infections, cognitive impairment occurs due to brain damage or dysfunction caused by vascular lesions and inflammatory processes. Persistent cognitive impairment compromises daily activities and psychosocial adaptation.

Screw fixation is usually performed to guarantee spinal stability and prevent dramatic fracture events. Accordingly, predicting the overall mechanical response in such conditions is critical to planning and optimizing surgical treatment.

It is unknown whether tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 2 (TIMP-2) and insulinlike growth factor binding protein 7 (IGFBP7) could be used for staging.
Objective: To test whether higher levels of urinary [TIMP-2] × [IGFBP7] are associated with lower survival among patients with the same functional stage of AKI.
Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) is the mainstream treatment for drug-refractory cardiac fibrillation. Multiple studies demonstrated that incorrect dosage of radiofrequency energy to the myocardium could lead to uncontrolled tissue damage or treatment failure, with the consequent need for unplanned reoperations. Monitoring tissue temperature during thermal therapy and predicting the extent of lesions may improve treatment efficacy.

The use of a questionnaire developed by Dr Rahman et al in 2018 could be a valid instrument for assessing the knowledge and attitudes of nursing staff towards the recognition of this syndrome.
Aim: We conducted a descriptive observational study at three Genoese hospitals (E.
Importance: There are limited comparative data on the durability of neutralizing antibody (nAb) responses elicited by messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern (VOCs) in immunocompromised patients and healthy controls.
Objective: To assess the humoral responses after vaccination with BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) or mRNA-1273 (Moderna) vaccines.
Design, Setting, And Participants: In this prospective, longitudinal monocentric comparative effectiveness study conducted at the Lausanne University Hospital, binding IgG anti-spike antibody and nAb levels were measured at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after vaccination with mRNA-1273 (24.
Purpose: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a systemic inflammatory condition associated with coagulopathy which may result in severe thromboembolic complications. Cardiac injury is not uncommon in hospitalized COVID-19 patients and therefore we aimed to investigate whether it stems from an abnormal coagulative state.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective cross-sectional study on consecutive patients hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Case Report: a 77-year-old man presented to our Emergency Department for worsening dyspnea. A chest CT scan showed a type A aortic dissection with a dilatation of the ascending and descending aorta. After evaluating the case with cardiac surgeons, it was decided to perform an aortic arch replacement through the frozen elephant trunk technique.

Italian hospitals rapidly applied a demand systems for virtual health services based on tele-triage, tele-consultation and tele-visits procedures. This led, in the following months, the integration of virtual healthcare services applicable to the Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisa (AOUP).

Cotyledon-derived callus induction increased by 30-60% in all tested combinations of TDZ and NAA concentrations compared the absence of PGRs. Hypocotyl-derived callus induction was improved in most tested combinations of TDZ and NAA concentrations.
