We report the case of 5 year-old boy, presenting with acute pericarditis, wandering abdominal tumefaction and high eosinophil blood count. Clinical history and serologic tests arrived at the diagnosis of human hypodermyiasis. Pericardiac manifestations are so scarce in this kind of parasitosis, that we found of interest to relate a new case.

The name of sacro-coccygeal tumors is used generally for various tumors embryologically different in their origin. Rare, but not exceptional in number, these sacro-coccygeal tumors may have various locations and different sizes which make diagnosis more or less difficult. Benign in the first months of life, risks of malignancy will increase with age.
