Dysbiosis of the gut microbiota is implicated in the increasing prevalence of food allergy, which will need to be regulated to enable for an effective oral immunotherapy against food allergy. In striated muscle, the sarcomeric protein myosin-binding protein-C (MyBP-C) is bound to the myosin thick filament and is predicted to stabilize myosin heads in a docked position against the thick filament, which limits crossbridge formation. Here, we use the homozygous Mybpc2 knockout (C2) mouse line to remove the fast-isoform MyBP-C from fast skeletal muscle and then conduct mechanical functional studies in parallel with small-angle X-ray diffraction to evaluate the myofilament structure. Thermally conductive and flame-retardant polyolefin composites are facing great challenges in meeting the increasing demands for fire safety and thermal management. Aiming at simultaneously enhancing thermal conductivity and flame retardancy, hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) and magnesium hydroxide (MH) were adopted in ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer/polyolefin elastomer (EVA/POE) blends to design composites with selective filler distributions and co-continuous networks via different processing schemes.
