Aims: This nationwide study provides an overview of trends and variations in radiotherapy use as part of multimodal treatment of invasive non-metastatic breast cancer in the Netherlands in 2008-2019.
Materials And Methods: Women with invasive non-metastatic breast cancer were selected from the population-based Netherlands Cancer Registry. Treatments trends were presented over time.
Background: The first aim of this study was to examine trends in the risk of ipsilateral invasive breast cancer (iIBC) after breast-conserving surgery (BCS) of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). A second aim was to analyse the association between DCIS grade and the risk of iIBC following BCS.
Patients And Methods: In this population-based, retrospective cohort study, the Netherlands Cancer Registry collected information on 25,719 women with DCIS diagnosed in the period 1989-2021 who underwent BCS.

Purpose: Patients with chemotherapy-induced ovarian function failure (CIOFF) may experience ovarian function recovery (OFR). Earlier, we showed that OFR during treatment with anastrozole impacted the prognosis of hormone receptor-positive (HR+) breast cancer (BC) patients with CIOFF. Here, we present the long-term follow-up results.

However, these studies might not reflect the clinical setting. This study compares the use of a clinically implemented in-house trained DL segmentation model for breast cancer to a previously performed pilot study to assess possible differences in performance or acceptability.

Background: The aim of the present study was to report the 5-year axillary recurrence-free interval (aRFI) in clinically node-positive breast cancer patients treated according to a de-escalating axillary treatment protocol after neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NST).
Methods: All patients diagnosed in two hospitals between October 2014 and March 2021 were identified retrospectively. Data on diagnostic workup, treatment and follow-up was collected.
