High drug resistance remains a challenge for chemotherapy against hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Combining chemotherapeutic agents with microRNA (miRNA), which simultaneously regulates multiple pathways, offers a promising approach to improve therapeutic efficacy against HCC. Although cationic amphiphilic copolymers have been used to co-deliver these agents, their effectiveness is often limited by low co-encapsulation efficiency and inherent cationic toxicity.

Background: Most patients initially diagnosed with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) still have frequent recurrence after urethral bladder tumor electrodesiccation supplemented with intravesical instillation therapy, and their risk of recurrence is difficult to predict. Risk prediction models used to predict postoperative recurrence in patients with NMIBC have limitations, such as a limited number of included cases and a lack of validation. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop new models to compensate for the shortcomings and potentially provide evidence for predicting postoperative recurrence in NMIBC patients.

Objectives: To develop a nomogram based on the radiomics features of tumour and perigastric adipose tissue adjacent to the tumor in dual-layer spectral detector computed tomography (DLCT) for lymph node metastasis (LNM) prediction in gastric cancer (GC).

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 175 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. They were divided into training cohort (n = 125) and validation cohort (n = 50).

With the increasing demand for enhancing livestock production performance and optimizing feed efficiency, this study aimed to investigate the effects of fermented total mixed ration (FTMR) containing different proportions of rice straw and sheath and leaves of on systemic nutrient metabolism and oxidative metabolism under host genetic regulation and on growth performance of heifers. A total of 157 heifers aged 7-8 months were selected, and their hair was collected for whole-genome sequencing. They were randomly assigned into four groups of 18 to 21 cattle each and fed FTMR containing varying levels of rice straw (21% in LSF, 28% in MSF, 35% in HSF) or 31% sheath and leaves of (ZF) for a two-month period.
