Introduction: Atrial fibrillation (AF) and large artery atherosclerotic diseases are major causes of ischemic stroke and their coexistence increases the risk of stroke and mortality. Research on antithrombotic strategies for AF patients with symptomatic large artery atherosclerosis is limited. This study aims to report a single center's experience regarding the antithrombotic regimens prescribed for this population and the association with stroke recurrence and hemorrhagic events.

Humoral immune disorders such as common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) and specific antibody deficiency (SAD) are prevalent in clinical practice and require accurate functional testing of humoral immunity for diagnosis and to guide treatment approach. Traditionally, the 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23) has been used to assess polysaccharide antibody responses by measuring pre- and post-vaccination pneumococcal titers. However, the recent introduction of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCVs), such as PCV13, PCV15, and PCV20, into the childhood and adult vaccine schedules has significantly reduced the number of unique serotypes available for testing and in turn has complicated the evaluation process.

Although solar cells have the potential to create an endless amount of electrical power, their comparatively low power conversion efficiency draws the curiosity of both academics and industry. The primary goal of this research is to examine the performance of lead-free perovskite solar cells that use methyl ammonium tin iodide (CHNHSnI) as the active material. The SCAPS-1D programme is employed for the simulation and analysis of the solar cells.

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is a foundational and integral factor for the development of smart applications in different sectors. These applications are comprised over set of interconnected modules that exchange data and realize the distributed data flow (DDF) model. The execution of these modules on distant cloud data-center is prone to quality of service (QoS) degradation.
