Role of CYP2D6 polymorphisms in tramadol metabolism in a context of co-medications and overweight.

Very few quantitative data exist on tramadol metabolites, which hampers our understanding of their role in efficacy and safety of tramadol. We aimed to provide quantitative data on tramadol and its 5 main metabolites in a patient cohort and to determine whether metabolite ratios can be predictive of a CYP2D6 metabolism phenotype. We also aimed to investigate the influence of co-medications and patient profile (BMI, glycemia, lipid levels) on tramadol metabolite ratios.

Use of Mobile Phones and Radiofrequency-Emitting Devices in the COSMOS-France Cohort.

Unlabelled: COSMOS-France is the French part of the COSMOS project, an international prospective cohort study that investigates whether the use of mobile phones and other wireless technologies is associated with health effects and symptoms (cancers, cardiovascular diseases, neurologic pathologies, tinnitus, headaches, or sleep and mood disturbances). Here, we provide the first descriptive results of COSMOS-France, a cohort nested in the general population-based cohort of adults named Constances.

Methods: A total of 39,284 Constances volunteers were invited to participate in the COSMOS-France study during the pilot (2017) and main recruitment phase (2019).

Development and validation of a French job-exposure matrix for healthcare workers: JEM Soignances.

Objectives: This study aimed to develop and evaluate a job-exposure matrix (JEM) specific to healthcare workers, JEM Soignances, based on self-reported data.

Methods: The JEM was constructed using data from healthcare workers within the CONSTANCES cohort (N=12 489). Job titles and sectors of activity (eg, hospital activities) defined occupational groups.

SARS-CoV-2 infection and the risk of depressive symptoms: a retrospective longitudinal study from the population-based CONSTANCES cohort.

Background: Should COVID-19 have a direct impact on the risk of depression, it would suggest specific pathways for prevention and treatment. In this retrospective population-based study, we aimed to examine the association of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection with depressive symptoms, distinguishing self-reported . biologically confirmed COVID-19.

Changes in household use of disinfectant and cleaning products during the first lockdown period in France.

Background: Few studies evaluated the use of Household Disinfectant and Cleaning Products (HDCPs) during the COVID-19 pandemic, but no population-based cohorts used longitudinal data. We studied changes in HDCPs during the first lockdown, based on longitudinal data from the French population-based NutriNet-Santé and CONSTANCES cohorts.

Methods: Based on standardized questionnaires on household cleaning tasks in 2018-2019 and around the first lockdown in France (March17-May3 2020), we compared the duration of weekly use of HDCPs (< 1 day/week, < 10 min/week; 10-30 min/week; > 30 min/week) and the household cleaning help (yes/no) before and during the lockdown period by Bhapkar and McNemar's tests.
