Thermophilic proteins, mesophiles proteins and psychrophilic proteins have wide industrial applications, as enzymes with different optimal temperatures are often needed for different purposes. Convenient methods are needed to determine the optimal temperatures for proteins; however, laboratory methods for this purpose are time-consuming and laborious, and existing machine learning methods can only perform binary classification of thermophilic and non-thermophilic proteins, or psychrophilic and non-psychrophilic proteins. Here, we developed a deep learning model, PSTP-BERT, based on protein sequences that can directly perform Three classes identification of thermophilic, mesophilic, and psychrophilic proteins.

However, the characteristics of microbial communities in the phyllosphere of mangrove species with and without salt glands and the differences between them remain unknown, and the exploration and the agricultural utilization of functional microbial resources from the leaves of mangrove plants are insufficient.
Results: In this study, we examined six typical mangrove species to unravel the differences in the diversity and structure of phyllosphere microbial communities between mangrove species with or without salt glands.
Purpose: Chemotherapy dose-limiting toxicities (DLT) pose a significant challenge in successful colon cancer treatment. Body composition analysis may enable tailored interventions thereby supporting the mitigation of chemotherapy toxic effects. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of using three-dimensional (3D) CT body composition measures from the entire lumbar spine levels (L1-L5) versus a single vertebral level (L3), the current gold standard, in predicting chemotherapy DLT in colon cancer patients.

FITC-Tyr-HSP with excellent physiological stability possessed the significant fluorescent characteristics, which could be dynamically monitored by in vivo fluorescence imaging and high performance gel permeation chromatography-fluorescence detector (HPGPC-FLD).
