Allogeneic stem cell transplant (alloHCT) is considered for all patients with myeloid neoplasms (MN) harboring TP53-mutations (TP53mut). The aim of this international study across 7 transplant centers in USA and Australia was to identify factors associated with improved post-alloHCT survival. Of 134 TP53mut MN cases who underwent alloHCT, 80% harbored complex karyotype (CK); 94% of TP53 variants were localized to the DNA-binding domain (DBD).

Here, we intend to identify the molecular actions of thiram at the mitochondrial-associated ER membranes (MAMs) that lead to the induction of ER stress and mitochondrial calcium overload in both liver and bone tissues. Taken together, we show that thiram-induced remodelling of MAMs leads to huge ER stress and calcium dysregulation.
