Adolescent Attitudes Toward the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine in Kocaeli, Turkiye.

Background The adolescent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination rate is relatively high in developed countries and it is not widespread in Turkiye. This paper explores what factors influence the decision on the acceptance of the HPV vaccine by adolescents. Methods Data from 206 adolescents was gathered via a survey completed after consent from the parents and themselves between May 2022 and September 2022.

The relationship between soong classification and fracture characteristics with implant removal for distal radius fractures: a comparative study of 795 cases.

Introduction: Although there is no consensus in the literature, it is believed that the Soong classification system and fracture pattern are risk factors for plate removal in distal radius fractures.

Hypothesis: The aim of this large-scale study was to evaluate the relationship between Soong classification, fracture pattern, and implant removal in distal radius fractures.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 795 patients who underwent surgery using a volar locking plate for distal radius fractures at our clinic between 2005 and 2022.

Prenatal-Postnatal Outcomes and Prognostic Risk Factors of Fetal Volvulus: Analysis of 26 Cases.

Objective: The aim of the current study was to reveal ultrasonographic and clinical features, prenatal-postnatal outcomes and prognostic risk factors of fetal volvulus.

Method: This retrospective study evaluated all cases of fetal volvulus diagnosed between 2018 and 2024 at the Perinatology center of Zeynep Kamil Women and Children Diseases Training and Research Hospital. In the vast majority of cases, the pediatric surgery team confirmed the conclusive diagnosis of volvulus during the postnatal period.

Molecular analysis of 31 cases with fetal skeletal dysplasia.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe the prenatal ultrasound findings of fetuses with skeletal dysplasia and to evaluate the genetic variations by molecular genetic analysis.

Methods: Between August 1, 2018 and March 1, 2023, we conducted a retrospective case series at a tertiary referral center involving patients with fetal skeletal abnormalities. For cases referred for a possible diagnosis of fetal skeletal dysplasia, an ultrasound database and prenatal genetic counseling records were first searched.

Fetal bradyarrhythmias: classification, monitoring and outcomes of 40 cases at a single center.

Objectives: To assess congenital fetal bradyarrhythmias with regard to etiological causes, features, risk factors, and prognosis.

Methods: This retrospective study involved fetuses with fetal bradyarrhythmias. All fetuses were evaluated by ultrasonography.
