Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) during pregnancy poses a serious threat to maternal health, particularly in low- and lower-middle-income countries (LMICs). Despite these known risks, the role of spousal educational differences in IPV during pregnancy remains poorly understood. This study aimed to examine this influence, analyzing data from multiple countries across five continents.

The Use of Coronoid Process as a Free Graft for Condylar Reconstruction in a Patient With Condylar Osteoma: A Condylar Reconstruction Technical Note (Technical Strategy).

Osteoma is a rare, asymptomatic, and slowly growing benign tumor of bone. Upon reviewing the literature, only 21 cases were previously reported in the mandibular condyle. Hepatocellular Carcinoma with Vascular Invasion Treated with Resin Yttrium-90 Transarterial Radioembolization Using Single Compartment Dosimetry.

Purpose: To report outcomes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients with lobar and segmental vascular invasion treated with resin Yttrium-90 transarterial radioembolization (Y90-TARE) with single-compartment MIRD (Medical Internal Radiation Dose) model.

Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective IRB approved study of patients with a diagnosis of HCC with vascular invasion undergoing resin Y90-TARE from 2014 to 2022 (n = 61). Patients with Body Surface Area dosimetry (n = 20), main portal vein invasion (n = 6) and patients with an ECOG of > 2 were excluded (n = 1) with a final cohort of 34 patients.

Costs of outpatient services at selected primary healthcare centers in Bangladesh: A cross-sectional study.

Background: Upazila Health Complexes (UzHC) serve as the backbone of primary healthcare (PHC) at the sub-district level in Bangladesh, delivering comprehensive healthcare services including both inpatient and outpatient services to the grassroots levels. However, not all the prescribed medicines and diagnostics services are always available at these facilities for outpatient care. This results in out-of-pocket expenditure (OOPE) to the patients for getting prescribed medicines and diagnostics services which has not been properly explored.
