Article Synopsis
  • The U-21 strain secretes chaperones, like the ClpL protein, which shows potential as a disaggregase for treating Parkinson's disease.
  • Analysis of the C0965_000195 gene reveals that ClpL can assist in refolding misfolded proteins, particularly luciferases, helping cells manage protein damage.
  • Experiments indicate that both the secreted culture medium from U-21 and purified ClpL can protect proteins from denaturation, suggesting ClpL's key role in the strain’s potential therapeutic benefits.

The main aim of this study was to validate 500 true-false general-knowledge questions in Russian. These norms are valuable to researchers in many fields, as is shown by the impact and relevance of similar norms available in other languages. Although the Russian language is widely spoken, there are no norms available in this language for this type of questions.

Automatic parsing of syntactic information by the human brain is a well-established phenomenon, but its mechanisms remain poorly understood. Its best-known neurophysiological reflection is the so-called early left-anterior negativity (ELAN) component of event-related potentials (ERPs), with two alternative hypotheses for its origin: (1) error detection, or (2) morphosyntactic prediction/priming. To test these alternatives, we conducted two experiments using a non-attend passive design with visual distraction and recorded ERPs to spoken pronoun-verb phrases with/without agreement violations and to the same critical verbs presented in isolation without preceding pronouns.

Nephrotic syndrome (NS) during pregnancy is a fairly rare pathology and its descriptions in the literature are few. For a long time, NS was associated only with an exacerbation of chronic glomerulonephritis or nephritis, however, the experience of recent years has shown that NS can be a manifestation of the classical obstetric pathology - preeclampsia (PE). The appearance of massive proteinuria with the development of NS is most typical for early PE, which, of course, makes diagnosis difficult, especially if PE develops at an unusually early time (up to 20 weeks).
