Introduction: Primary lumbar spondylodiscitis is a serious condition with an increasing incidence rate.
Methods: From January 2021 to June 2023, we adopted a single-stage oblique lateral approach for the debridement of lumbar infection foci, intervertebral bone grafting fusion, tube irrigation drainage, combined with posterior percutaneous pedicle screw fixation for the treatment of primary lumbar spondylodiscitis.
Results: We found that this surgical technique significantly improved the patients' lower back pain symptoms.
Background: The study aimed to conduct a network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to examine the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese patent medicine (TCPM), either used alone or combined with conventional treatment (CT) of chemical drugs, for treating chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG).
Methods: We searched the literature from database creation to December 2023; our primary endpoint was clinical response rate. Secondary outcome measures were the inhibition rate of Helicobacter pylori and clinical symptom score, including pain and noisy scores for the stomach, score for belch and acid reflux, score for the bitter taste and the dry throat, and safety according to total adverse events.

Transcription activator-like effectors (TALEs) secreted from pv () function as a pathogenicity factor to activate rice bacterial blight (BB) susceptibility, conforming to the gene-for-gene paradigm as well as resistance. pathotypes generally harbor one to three major TALEs targeting genes to determine pathogenicity; conversely, the immunity events mediated by minor TALEs have not been taken seriously. Here, we demonstrated that lipid transfer protein encoding gene positively regulates rice resistance to pathotype PXO61, and TalAE73, a representative member of the most widely distributed TALE family in 135 isolates, transcriptionally activates expression.

It is also well known that the gene, as a tumor suppressor, influences the development of gastric cancer.
Methods: We recruited 484 gastric cancer patients and 471 controls.
