Background: Duchenne muscular dystrophy is primarily a disease of progressive muscle degeneration affecting the whole body. It is important to preserve the patients' walking ability as long as possible. Inconclusive information on Duchenne muscular dystrophy gait pattern is available for the lower body and missing for the upper body.

Research agenda for ending preventable maternal deaths from postpartum haemorrhage: a WHO research prioritisation exercise.

Introduction: Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) remains the leading cause of maternal death. Yet there is a lack of clarity around what research is needed to determine what works and how best to deliver proven PPH interventions. This article describes a WHO-led effort to develop a global PPH research agenda for 2023-2030, to reinvigorate research and innovation while avoiding duplication and waste.

Purpose: This pilot study assessed the safety and effects of progressive functional high-intensity training in a group setting for adolescents with unilateral cerebral palsy (CP) on daily function indicators.

However, its application with larger sheaths such as ones required in left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) has yet to be explored.
