Introduction: After mild traumatic brain injury, service members may experience difficulty with executive functions, which could interfere with return to duty and life roles. Because performance-based multitasking assessments are sensitive to executive dysfunction, a team of military and civilian rehabilitation researchers developed the Charge of Quarters Duty Test (CQDT) to help inform duty readiness after concussion; it is a multitasking test based on a military task scenario that challenges executive functions, such as foresight and planning, set shifting, and prospective memory. Although previous study indicates that CQDT has reliability and known-groups validity, like other multitasking tests, it should not be readministered after rehabilitative care because of learning effects.

Interactions of graphene oxide (GO) with an rat heart and its coronary vessels have not been studied yet. Moreover, the conflicting data on the "structure-properties" relationships do not allow for biomedical applications of GO. Herein, we study the impact of GO on the isolated rat heart, normotensive and hypertensive, under the working heart and the constant-pressure perfusion (Langendorff) regimes.

Background: Tiered trauma team activation (TTA) allows systems to optimally allocate resources to an injured patient. Target undertriage and overtriage rates of <5% and <35% are difficult for centers to achieve, and performance variability exists. The objective of this study was to optimize and externally validate a previously developed hospital trauma triage prediction model to predict the need for emergent intervention in 6 hours (NEI-6), an indicator of need for a full TTA.

Purpose in life is increasingly understood to be important to health and well-being. Despite occupational therapy's long history of using occupations to advance health and the linkage between a subclass of occupations and purpose in life, the term is nearly absent from the American Occupational Therapy Association's documents and the profession's empirical literature. We propose that the profession explicitly name purpose in life as among our intervention outcomes and address disruptions of purpose in life in practice.
