The VELYS robotic-assisted system (DePuy Synthes, Warsaw, IN, USA) in total knee replacement (TKR) enables precise bone registration and resection, reducing manual errors and minimizing soft tissue injury compared to conventional methods. This method will provide a more accurate implant position with a better postoperative range of motion (ROM). This technical note describes the steps in performing robotic-assisted TKR using the VELYS with a tibial-femoral approach.

Previous studies have focused on broad clinical descriptions of individuals, but limited information regarding specific speech diagnoses and results of direct testing has been published to date. The current study aims to further delineate the prevalence, nature and severity of, and the association between, behavioural and social-communicative features of school-aged children with 16p11.

Antimicrobial resistant Escherichia coli in Scottish wild deer: Prevalence and risk factors.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a recognised threat to global health. Obtaining data on the prevalence of AMR in environmental bacteria is key to understanding drivers and routes of transmission. Here, 325 Shiga toxin negative deer faecal samples-gathered from across the Scottish mainland-were screened for the presence of AMR Escherichia coli and investigated for potential risk factors associated with AMR occurrence.
