Background And Objective: Complementary and integrative health (CIH) approaches are increasingly popular among patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. Whole person health has been identified as an important perspective in integrative health. While complementary approaches have been discussed in the GI literature, the whole person health framework has not yet been incorporated.

The death of a child is an intense loss for families, which impacts the wellbeing of parents, surviving siblings, and the family as a whole. This study expanded on existing literature by collecting qualitative accounts from bereaved parents and siblings about their experiences before, during, and after the death of a child in their family. In total, 15 participants from 9 families completed semi-structured interviews.

The water-gas shift (WGS) reaction is a crucial process for hydrogen production. Unfortunately, achieving high reaction rates and yields for the WGS reaction at low temperatures remains a challenge due to kinetic limitations. Here, nonthermal plasma coupled to Cu/γ-AlO catalysts was employed to enable the WGS reaction at considerably lower temperatures (up to 140 °C).

Unlabelled: Wastewater surveillance has emerged as a crucial public health tool for population-level pathogen surveillance. Supported by funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the FDA's genomic epidemiology program, GenomeTrakr, was leveraged to sequence SARS-CoV-2 from wastewater sites across the United States. This initiative required the evaluation, optimization, development, and publication of new methods and analytical tools spanning sample collection through variant analyses.

There is a need for high quality and user-friendly web-based tools that support communication and decision-making for people with dementia and their family caregivers.
