Background: Clinico-anatomical review and pilot studies demonstrated that intraparenchymal injection at any site, even those not containing the index lesion, or periareolar injections should provide concordant outcomes to peritumoral injections.

Method: This was a single-center retrospective cohort at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. The electronic medical records of patients were characterized into conventional and new injection concept groups.

Background: In a pilot study using both cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) as single agents in advanced cancer patients undergoing palliative care in Thailand, the doses were generally well tolerated, and the outcome measure of total symptom distress scores showed overall symptom benefit. The current study aims to determine the intensity of the symptoms experienced by breast cancer patients, to explore the microbiome profile, cytokines, and bacterial metabolites before and after the treatment with cannabis oil or no cannabis oil, and to study the pharmacokinetics parameters and pharmacogenetics profile of the doses.

Methods: A randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial will be conducted on the breast cancer cases who were diagnosed with breast cancer and currently receiving chemotherapy at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH), Bangkok, Thailand.

Introduction: Axillary lymph node dissection was recommended for mastectomy patients with more than two nodal metastases from sentinel lymph node biopsy. Conventionally, intraoperative frozen section was sent routinely to reduce the need for second-stage axillary lymph node dissection; however, recent global trend has seen decreasing usage of the intraoperative analyses. This pilot study conducted in Thailand aimed to evaluate the role of intraoperative frozen section of sentinel lymph node biopsy in early-stage breast cancer patients who underwent mastectomy.

Purpose: Clinical application of the ACOSOG Z0011 trial results allows clinically node-negative breast cancer patients who meet criteria to avoid axillary dissection even when 1-2 sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) are positive for metastatic disease. Intraoperative frozen section (iFS) analyses of SLNs were thought to reduce re-operation rates despite variable reported sensitivity and possibility of a false negative result. This study evaluated the rate of re-operations prevented by SLN iFS in a tertiary care hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, over a 6-year time-frame.

Background: KAMILLA is a single-arm safety study of trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive advanced breast cancer (BC; NCT01702571). We report the final analysis of cohort 2 (Asia) within the context of published cohort 1 (Global) findings.

Methods: Patients had HER2-positive, locally advanced, or metastatic BC progressing after chemotherapy and anti-HER2 therapy or ≤6 months after adjuvant therapy.
