Clinical documentation of patient visits has changed over the last 20 years, with the increasing use of electronic records causing a seismic shift in how notes are taken. Electronic note-taking aims at reducing the time taken to document a visit, and the introduction of dot phrases, or DotPhrases, in electronic medical records is a step toward reducing the time required to update patients' charts, which might allow doctors to spend more time with their patients. DotPhrases, abbreviated phrases used in the electronic medical record, help in the simplification of note-taking and the standardization of notes.

This retrospective chart review sought to describe the maternal and infant health outcomes of incarcerated women who received prenatal care while in an Arkansas prison.
Methods: Using a hospital-based electronic medical records (EMR) system, we examined the maternal health history and current pregnancy characteristics of 219 pregnant women who received prenatal care while incarcerated from June 2014 to May 2019.
The proposed study was to determine if the silver nanoparticles can be used as potential antimicrobial agents and can replace the use of conventional antibiotics in semen without affecting the motility and fertility of semen. The silver nanoparticles prepared by chemical reduction method were confirmed by determination of the wavelength of surface plasmon resonance peak and further characterized using Zetasizer by determining their size, polydispersity index, and zeta potential. The nanoparticles were assessed for antibacterial activity and their concentration was optimized for use in semen extender for cryopreservation.

We have developed a highly efficient blue-emitter, based on environmentally friendly indium phosphide/zinc sulphide quantum dots (InP/ZnS QDs) in water, by controlling the growth kinetics of the core as well as the shell. A rational combination of less-reactive metal-halides, phosphorus, and sulphur precursors is the key for achieving the uniform growth of the InP core and ZnS shell.
