The iPSC line NIMHi013-A was generated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a paediatric patient with drug resistant epilepsy. The proband was found to have a likely pathogenic missense variant in the SCN1A gene in heterozygous state, which segregated in the affected in dominant fashion. The variant is in the Nav1.

In this study, we are reporting the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-based purification of fluorine-18 [F]AVT-011 and its preclinical evaluation. AVT-011 was labeled with F using the nucleophilic substitution method by heating the reaction mixture at 110°C for 10 min, followed by purification using preparative HPLC and C18ec cartridge.

In this context, the understanding of pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 in specific cells of central nervous system (CNS) origin is relevant. The present study explores infection biology of a clinical isolate of SARS-CoV-2 in human cell lines of neural origin such as the glioblastoma (U87-MG), neuroblastoma (SHSY5Y) and microglia (C20).

The rate of reintervention after surgery remains high. Many aspects of the management could be improved such as assessment of operability in late presenters, selection of suitable surgical technique in each case, and prevention of anastomotic complications.

CHIKV has emerged as a significant causative agent of central nervous system (CNS) complications, including encephalitis and related sequelae. Microglial cells, crucial for immune responses and tissue repair in the CNS, play a vital role in the host response to viral infections, with their activation potentially leading to either protection or pathology.
