Unlabelled: Introduction y objectives: Tako-tsubo syndrome (TTS) is a cardiac condition that mimics acute coronary syndrome, characterized by transient left ventricular dysfunction in the absence of culprit coronary artery stenosis. Although its etiology remains unknown, reversible microvascular dysfunction secondary to an adrenergic surge is thought to play a role. Treatment is empirical, although most patients receive beta-blockers (BB) in clinical practice.

Metalloproteases and their inhibitors in the postpartum endometrial remodeling in dairy cows: their relationship with days to conception after parturition.

In dairy herds, it is expected that cows will be cycling and the uterus will be ready for a new conception before the fourth week postpartum. However, an alteration in the endometrial remodeling can delay conception, increasing the parturition-to-conception interval, and consequently decreasing the reproductive performance. The endometrial matrix has a relevant participation in the processes of postpartum uterine remodeling.

Introduction And Importance: Cholecystectomy is the most common general surgery procedure, necessitating thorough knowledge of bile duct anatomy. Despite the bile duct's anatomical diversity, reports of double cystic ducts are rare. This case presentation aims to emphasize the importance of recognizing this unusual anatomical variant during surgical procedures to prevent complications and ensure patient safety.

Diversity of Anaplasmataceae Transmitted by Ticks (Ixodidae) and the First Molecular Evidence of and Anaplasma boleense in Paraguay.

Anaplasmataceae bacteria are emerging infectious agents transmitted by ticks. The aim of this study was to identify the molecular diversity of this bacterial family in ticks and hosts, both domestic and wild, as well as blood meal sources of free-living ticks in northeastern Paraguay. The bacteria were identified using PCR-HRM, a method optimized for this purpose, while the identification of ticks and their blood meal was performed using conventional PCR.

Endometrial distribution of bovine immune cells in relation to days to conception after parturition.

In dairy cows, the processes involved in the resolution of uterine inflammation during the postpartum are closely related to improved fertility during the subsequent lactation period. Little is known, however, about the role and distribution of endometrial immune cell populations during the pre-implantation period. This study was aimed to analyze the endometrial distribution of several mononuclear immune cells (T cells, γδ T cells, B cells and macrophages) in healthy dairy cows during the postpartum, beyond the transition period, looking for its possible association with the parturition-conception interval (PCI) and delayed conception.
