Anatomy learning has traditionally relied on drawings, plastic models, and cadaver dissections/prosections to help students understand the three-dimensional (3D) relationships within the human body. However, the landscape of anatomy education has been transformed with the introduction of digital media. In this light, the Open Anatomy Explorer (OPANEX) was developed.

Care Competencies Training Enhances Adolescents' Well-being: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

This intervention study seeks to assess the impact of a care competencies training program on students' well-being. This randomized controlled trial involved 191 Vietnamese adolescents (65.4% female, age = 16 years and 8 months) in a 7-week intervention study that used video vignettes to build their care competencies.

The development of a research-based interprofessional communication behaviors repository in healthcare education: A systematic review.

Interprofessional communication is crucial for patient care, yet there is a dearth of comprehensive assessment tools essential to train and assess healthcare students. While the Interprofessional Educational Collaborative framework (IPEC) outlines eight sub-competencies, it lacks detailed behavioral indicators. This study aimed to create a repository of interprofessional communication behaviors to complement the IPEC sub-competencies.

Background: Work-integrated learning (WIL) is widely accepted and necessary to attain the essential competencies healthcare students need at their future workplaces. Yet, competency-based education (CBE) remains complex. There often is a focus on daily practice during WIL.

A study of the impact of an interprofessional education module in Vietnam on students' readiness and competencies.

Introduction: The literature puts forward a range of challenges of interprofessional education (IPE) related to its planning, initiation, implementation, and especially to IPE assessment. The present study aims to map changes in students' readiness and interprofessional collaboration competence (IPCC) in implementing an innovative IPE module. Potential differences in impact related to the health education programs and IPCC scores resulting from self-, peer-, and tutor assessments will also be analysed.
