The knee joint osteoarthrosis is accompanied by activation of the oxidative stress in the synovial liquid. Specific treatment decreased or even normalized such biochemical parameters of the synovial liquid as the carbonyl groups, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) and total protein content. The most demonstrative changes were found for early and late markers of the oxidative modification of proteins.

It was determined that erythropoietin expression increased in exocervical epithelium activity (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 1 and 2), combined with the increase of blood plasma erythropoietin level, activation of pro- and antiapoptosis programs and cellular proliferation processes in cervical epithelium.

The influx of mononuclear leukocytes into the glomerulus and high cytokine levels induced a decrease in mesangial cell proliferation and an increase in extracellular matrix production. The methylprednisolone suppression of mononuclear leukocyte infiltration caused the autocine cytokine secretion of mesangial cells.

The present dectarative, non-constructive and non-classifying nature of qualification characteristics for graduates of medical and pharmaceutical institutes necessitated the carrying out of investigations aimed at the elaboration of a new system of qualification characteristics capable to fulfill the function of scientifically substantiated quality standards of higher medical education for every specialty. The paper describes the evolution of methodological approaches to the making of these documents, considers their new structural peculiarities, provides the technology of their projecting, determines their place in the target system of continuous medical education.
