The contemporary literature provides conflicting evidence regarding the precedence of laparoscopic mesh rectopexy over laparoscopic suture rectopexy for full-thickness rectal prolapse. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of mesh and suture rectopexy to improve the surgical management of complete rectal prolapse. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines were followed to extract studies based on mesh versus suture rectopexy and published from 2001 to 2023.

An Orthogonal Approach for Determination of Acetamide Content in Pharmaceutical Drug Substance and Base-Contaminated Acetonitrile by GC and GC-MS External Method.

Acetamide is a potential genotoxic impurity; it should control in drug substance based on daily dosage level. It forms from base-contaminated acetonitrile and by-product of some drug substances. The available methods for acetamide in drug substance and water samples were determined by GC-MS using internal standard with critical procedures.

A new one pot multicomponent annulation strategy for the synthesis of various dihydroquinazolinone compounds has been developed using Amberlite-15 as a catalyst, giving good to moderate yields. In this reaction the substrate scope for amines and aldehydes was also investigated. The reaction has been checked on a large scale and the possible reaction mechanism has also been proposed.
