[Hygienic significance of studying gaseous discharge during production of polyvinylchloride resin items].

Experimental study demonstrated no vinyl chloride (VC) emanation from polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) resins in environment under indoor temperature (20 degrees). VC emanation was detected during resin heating to 50 degrees C and higher, its concentration increasing along with temperature elevation. Total decomposition of resin samples was observed at 140 degrees C.
