Toona sinensis, a plant species renowned for its culinary and medicinal properties, exhibits diverse colour variations that contribute to its aesthetic appeal and commercial value. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying colour and aroma traits in Toona sinensis is crucial for breeding programs and quality regulation in agriculture and the food industry. The present investigation included a comprehensive analysis of the transcriptomic and metabolomic profiles of Toona sinensis with different colours, including green, red, and red leaves with green stems.

The study aimed to probe the effect of white and red onion extract on the viability and stability of encapsulated probiotics under stressed conditions. Intentionally, white and red onion peel extract was obtained and used with wall materials to encapsulate the probiotic. Symbiotic microcapsules were characterized for their morphological, molecular, and in vitro attributes.

We describe a case of left main stem (LMS) stent dislodgement and embolization over the guide catheter after an intravascular ultrasound-guided percutaneous coronary intervention to an LMS osteal stenosis. After the initial intravascular ultrasound-guided assessment, the patient underwent percutaneous coronary intervention with 2 overlapping drug-eluting stents. After post-dilation, it was observed that the proximal LMS stent had migrated over the guide catheter proximally and dislodged from its original deployment in the LMS.

As a member of the proton-sensing GPCR receptors, GPR132 plays a crucial role in regulating immune cell functions, but the mechanism by which GPR132 affects natural killer (NK) cells has not yet been reported. Here, RNA-seq displayed that the expression of GPR132 was reduced in activated NK cells, and the proportion of mature NK cells in GPR132 mice was substantially increased compared to WT mice, with stronger anti-melanoma capabilities. Further investigation indicates that GPR132-deficient NK92 cells expressed more GzmB and IFN-γ and exhibited stronger cytotoxicity.

Background: Caudal septal deviation accounts for around five percent of patients with septal deviations that require surgery. The caudal septum provides support to the nasal tip and the deviations can narrow the nasal airway and lead to marked asymmetry in nostril shape. Over-resection of this area can compromise the structural support leading to tip collapse or saddle nose deformity.
