[Coartem and fansimef in the treatment of falciparum malaria].

From 2001 to 2003, anti-malarial combination coartem and fansimef, recommended by WHO, were used to treat falciparum malaria in Mali, 28 cases in each group. The mean fever clearance time, mean asexual parasite clearance time and the cure rate in 28 days were 35.3 +/- 6.

Child malaria treatment practices among mothers in the district of Yanfolila, Sikasso region, Mali.

We studied child malaria treatment practices among mothers living in the District of Yanfolila in southern Mali. For sampling, we first chose five of 13 health areas with probability proportional to size. Then villages, compounds and mothers with at least one child aged 1-5 years were randomly chosen.

Followed of one human and animal anthrax in the circle of Kati (Republic of Mali), 1978. This localized affection interested 84 men and 38 domesticated animals. The preventive dispositions of infection and damming in of transmission are considered.
