Background: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality, and easy to develop resistance to chemotherapeutic agents. Telomeres are DNA-protein complexes located at the termini of chromosomes in eukaryotic cells, which are unreplaceable in maintaining the stability and integrity of genome. Telomerase, an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase, play vital role in telomere length maintain, targeting telomerase is a promising therapeutic strategy for cancer.

Nonetheless, the characteristics of the gut microbiome and its metabolites across different clinical stages of NSCLC are yet to be fully understood. The current study seeks to explore the distinctive gut flora and metabolite profiles of NSCLC patients across varying TNM stages.

Two-dimensional (2D) Janus structures with the breaking of out-of-plane mirror symmetry can induce many interesting physical phenomena, and have attracted widespread attention. Herein, we propose a MoPS monolayer with mirror asymmetry, identified by first-principles structural search calculations, which demonstrates high thermodynamic and dynamic stability. Our findings reveal that Mo 4d-orbitals dominate the metallicity, significantly enhancing the density of states near the Fermi level due to Van Hove singularities (VHSs), leading to the existence of phonon-mediated superconductivity.

We propose a novel NLOS imaging method consisting of deconvolution modified iterative back projection and virtual modulated range migration for low time-resolution system, obtaining super-resolution (SR) histogram signal and high-resolution NLOS images sequentially. The proposed method is applicable to both confocal and non-confocal configurations.

A pair of in-house developed PLs is spliced into the cavity in a back-to-back structure. This PL-based structure functions as a mode multiplexer/demultiplexer to generate higher-order spatial modes.
