Identification of pesticide mixtures to which French agricultural workers and farm-owners are exposed: Results from the Agriculture and Cancer (AGRICAN) cohort study.

Farmers, particularly in Europe, are exposed to multiple pesticides during their working life. Such exposures can cause adverse health outcomes. We aimed to identify the main pesticide mixtures to which French agricultural workers are exposed and to classify farmers into clusters based on their mixture exposure profile.

Health of greenspace workers: Morbidity and mortality data from the AGRICAN cohort.

Introduction: Knowledge on the health of greenspace workers is scarce, even though they are exposed to many occupational hazards. The aim of this study was to analyze mortality by cause, prevalence of some non-cancer diseases, and incidence of the main cancers among greenspace workers.

Methods: A sub-cohort of greenspace workers was formed within the AGRICAN cohort.

Colorectal cancer among farmers in the AGRICAN cohort study.

Objectives: Specific farming types and tasks have rarely been studied in relation to colorectal cancer (CRC). We evaluated associations between 5 types of livestock and 13 types of crops in relation to CRC and its subsites within the Agriculture and Cancer (AGRICAN) study.

Methods: AGRICAN cohort includes 181,842 agricultural workers living in 11 French geographical areas.

Reliability of baseline self-reported information in the AGRICAN cohort.

Purpose: An important challenge in epidemiology is to ensure the reliability of collected data. Very few studies have been conducted in farming populations. We assessed the reliability of self-reported data on lifestyle, reproductive history, health and agricultural activities and tasks from the AGRICAN cohort.

Menopausal hormone therapy and women's health: An umbrella review.

Background: There remains uncertainty about the impact of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) on women's health. A systematic, comprehensive assessment of the effects on multiple outcomes is lacking. We conducted an umbrella review to comprehensively summarize evidence on the benefits and harms of MHT across diverse health outcomes.
