The purpose of this experimental and modeling research is to study the pH effect and to determine the surface coverage plus the adsorption constant (Ka) of bovine serum albumin (BSA) protein adsorbed on TiO2 anatase surface, respectively. In situ Fourier transform infrared-attenuated total reflection spectroscopy in a flow-through cell was used to study the BSA adsorption on porous TiO2 anatase films. The experiments were performed in water solution, under different pH values, at a concentration of 10-6 mol/l.

Methods: Patients aged ≥20 years who had undergone vitreoretinal surgery, alone or combined with cataract surgery were included using the French National Healthcare system database. For surgery performed by ophthalmologists carrying out ≥50 procedures during the year, the incidence per 100 000 of population ≥ 20 years of age, the number and mean age of surgeons and the number of surgeons aged >55 years were calculated.
Precis: Repeated ultrasound cycloplasty (UCP) procedures are valuable options in patients with early or delayed intraocular pressure (IOP) increase after a first procedure. The safety of a second procedure is similar to that of the first one.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of repeated UCPs in patients with early or delayed IOP increase after a first procedure.
On the basis of recent studies, understanding the intimate relationship between normal and leukaemic stem cells is very important in leukaemia treatment. The authors' aim in this work is to clarify and assess the effect of coexistence and interconnection phenomenon on the healthy and cancerous stem cell dynamics. To this end, they perform the analysis of two time-delayed stem cell models in acute myeloid leukaemia.

Firstly, based on the positivity of the model, stability of trivial solutions for healthy and cancerous cell subsystems is assessed. To this end we use new Lyapunov functionals and take into account the interconnection between cell populations.
