We investigate the effects of quenched elastic disorder on the nature of the crumpling-to-flat transition of D-dimensional polymerized membranes using a two-loop computation near the upper critical dimension D_{c}=4. While the pure system undergoes fluctuation-induced first-order transitions below D_{c} and for an embedding dimension d
It is expected that conformal symmetry is an emergent property of many systems at their critical point. This imposes strong constraints on the critical behavior of a given system. Taking them into account in theoretical approaches can lead to a better understanding of the critical physics or improve approximation schemes.

The experiment was conducted on the Sand Engine near Kijkduin, the Netherlands, from October 18, 2021, to January 7, 2022. Two artificial unvegetated dunes were constructed just above the high water line to measure storm erosion and dune impacts from higher water levels and waves.

However, the establishment of self-sustaining populations in the wild through the release of captive-bred animals is often hampered by a high mortality upon release. In this study, we investigated how a 2-week confinement period within a large field enclosure affected the anti-predator behaviour of 'naive' captive-bred hamsters and how potential modifications persisted over time.

Methods: Each gastroenterologist/radiologist pair in 13 centers selected MREs from 6 patients with SB-CD stratified on their perceived MRE inflammation severity.
