Megavoltage computed tomography (MVCT) plays a crucial role in patient positioning and dose reconstruction during tomotherapy. However, due to the limited scan field of view (sFOV), the entire cross-section of certain patients may not be fully covered, resulting in projection data truncation. Truncation artifacts in MVCT can compromise registration accuracy with the planned kilovoltage computed tomography (KVCT) and hinder subsequent MVCT-based adaptive planning.

However, the direct effects of androgen-induced CXCL12 on dermal papilla cells (DPCs) and dermal sheath cup cells (DSCs) have not been demonstrated. First, we compared single-cell RNA sequencing data between mouse and human skin, and the results show that CXCL12 is highly co-expressed with the androgen receptor (AR) in the DPCs and DSCs of only human hair.

Under the optimized conditions, the desired chiral products were obtained in good yields (73-90%) with moderate to high ee values (up to 97% ee). Two pairs of synthesized enantiomers were subjected to evaluation of their antiproliferative activities on four types of human cancer cell lines and one human umbilical vein endothelial cell line using the CCK-8 assay.

Objective: To develop a machine learning model that integrates clinical features and multisequence MRI radiomics for noninvasively predicting the expression status of prognostic-related factors cyclin D1 and TGF-β1 in breast cancer, providing additional information for the clinical development of personalized treatment plans.
Methods: A total of 123 breast cancer patients confirmed by surgical pathology were retrospectively enrolled in our Hospital from January 2016 to July 2022. The patients were randomly divided into a training group (87 cases) and a validation group (36 cases).
In many multicellular organisms, sexual development is not determined by XX/XY or ZW/ZZ systems but by U/V sex chromosomes. In U/V systems, sex determination occurs in the haploid phase, with U chromosomes in females and V chromosomes in males. Here, we explore several male, female, and partially sex-reversed male lines of giant kelp to decipher how U/V sex chromosomes and autosomes initiate male versus female development.
