Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a common gastrointestinal cancer, and even though oxaliplatin chemotherapy is effective, there is a high likelihood of relapse, indicating the presence of oxaliplatin-resistant CRC. Therefore, it is crucial to comprehend the molecular mechanisms of oxaliplatin resistance and develop effective strategies to counter drug resistance. Numerous studies have demonstrated the close association between microRNAs (miRNAs) and drug resistance in CRC.

This study aimed to explore the potential anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects of fasudil and its role in modulating aquaporin-4 (AQP-4) to improve cognitive impairment in a systemic inflammation model induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
Method: fourty C57BL/6 mice were assigned to four groups, including sham, LPS, sham+fasudil, and LPS+fasudil).
The presence of antibiotic pollutants in water and wastewater can cause significant risks to the environment in different aspects. Therefore, antibiotics need to be removed from water. This study investigates the adsorption of nalidixic acid (NA), a common antibiotic, using bovine serum albumin nanoparticles (BSA NPs).

Existing methods, which rely on microscopic imaging and registration of distant patterns, lack the required accuracy and precision for the next generation of three-dimensional (3D) chips. Here we show that 3D misalignment between two distant objects can be measured using metasurface alignment marks, a laser, and a camera with sub-nanometer precision.
