Few studies have been carried out on the complement of proteins (proteome) and peptides (peptidome) secreted by PCLS and other tissue sections, during tissue culture, although such data are likely to provide critical information on the biology of tissue slices and the changes these undergo. This was achieved through the production of a bespoke polymeric material formed via an imprinting technique using a fluorescent dye. Thus, this enables dual detection of tetracycline, both thermally, via analyzing the heat-transfer resistance at the solid-liquid interface, and optically, through the inner filter effect.
